About Me

How it all started:

Hello! I’m Brooke, a passionate individual with a deep love for fashion, especially modest fashion. My love for fashion runs in the family—passed down from my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Classy, timeless fashion has been a part of our legacy for generations, and I continue to honor that tradition with my own style choices, reflecting my faith and values. Family plays a central role in my life, as they are my greatest source of support and love. My faith is the foundation of everything I do, and I find inspiration in the beauty of religion—not just my own, but in the diverse ways others connect to the divine.

Running is another love of mine—it clears my mind and keeps me grounded. When I’m not running, hiking, or spending time with loved ones, you can find me hanging out with friends, immersed in photography, capturing the world through my lens, or thrifting, hunting for unique pieces that tell a story. I have been deeply invested in studying, always seeking to learn more and grow in both my personal and spiritual life, as well as in my studies on digital marketing.

In all things, I strive to live with purpose, guided by faith and the conviction to bring light to the world in my own small way.

Mission Statement:

Chaotic Elegance by Brooke Austin exists to inspire women of all ages who choose to dress modestly. To encourage those who dress modestly for their faith, their comfort, or their respect or any other reason. Because modesty can be both chaotic and elegant.

About Chaotic Elegance:

I will share consistent information and images to inform women about modest fashion. Over time, this blog and social media will be expanded to more.

This blog exists to share modest fashion for all women. Having an understanding of modesty outside of the “Utah bubble,” while still curating collections for Utah women. I know that everyone has a different approach to modesty. Here at chaotic elegance we choose to honor all religions, all women. Well this site focuses primarily on Utah fashion, other religious expressions of modesty will be explored.

I believe that there is something sacred about how we dress. Dress expresses exactly who we are to others and who we want to be. In my case, dressing modestly is a silent reminder to myself of my identity as a child of God and a reminder to those around me that I demand respect. Every day, the clothing we wear defines how others treat us, how others perceive us.

Importantly, how we perceive ourselves.

Ultimately, to me, the way I dress expresses respect for myself. The way I dress honors God and those around me.

I have been obsessed with fashion since I was a child. I love how clothing transforms us. Modesty is a huge part of fashion for me. I love finding modest clothing pieces to style in a fun, youthful way. I choose to honor God and my personal religious choices by dressing modestly.

My favorite styles of clothing are western wear, business casual, business, workout wear, dresses, and anything feminine with puffed sleeves and pink! But I love blue as well!

I have an associate degree in business from Utah Valley University. I have been working as an interior designer for over five years. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but I love and respect all religions. In my free time I love running, fashion, the gym, friends and family, psychology, self improvement, movies, and studying.
